Edgebrook church was started in 1887 in the Lake View neighborhood of Chicago. We moved to Edgebrook in 1950 and have been here ever since. We are currently a small multigeneraltional church that loves new comers and is on the upswing. If you come for a visit, you can expect several of us to introduce ourselves and warmly start up a casual conversation with you. Our Sunday morning music style can best be described as blended, as we love to sing both hymns as well as the latest worship tunes out there. Welcome to Kids Alive! the Children's Ministry of Edgebrook Church, where kids learn first-hand that Jesus is the image of the invisible God and that all things were created by Him and for Him (Colossians 1:15-16) We are committed to providing a joy-filled environment, creating opportunities for children to experience God through His Word. Kids Alive! offers Nursery, Pre-School, Sunday School and Children's Church (K-5th grade) during both our 9:30 and 10:30 programs.
